Are MOFRA extensions really 100% human hair?

Yes. Our extensions are made from 100% Remy human hair, with no synthetic fibers. Remy means the cuticle is kept intact and every strand runs in the same direction, which is what keeps the hair silky and tangle-free. You can wash, curl, straighten and style it exactly like your own hair.

How do I choose my shade?

Match the extensions to the ends of your hair, not your roots. Ébène is a deep natural black, also called off black, the shade of most natural black hair, made for silk-pressed and straightened hair. Brun is a deep espresso brown, for dark brunette to near-black hair. Chocolat is a rich chocolate brown, for brunettes. Ombré blends dark roots into sun-kissed blonde lengths. Our three brown and black shades are all on the deep side, so if your hair is a mid or light brown, send us a photo in natural light before you order and we will tell you honestly which one, if any, will match.

Which length should I pick?

18 inch (45 cm) reaches mid-back on most women and is perfect for natural-looking length and volume. 24 inch (60 cm) gives a dramatic, glamorous result.

How long do they last?

With proper care, 6 to 12 months of regular wear.

How do I apply clip-in extensions?

The 7 wefts clip in section by section in under 5 minutes. Start two inches above the nape, backcomb the roots lightly so the clips have something to grip, and work upward, stopping below the crown. No glue, no heat, no salon needed, and no damage to your natural hair. Our How to Wear page walks through every step.

Can I color or tone them?

Being 100% human hair, they can be colored. We recommend only darkening them (never bleaching) and always doing a strand test first, ideally with a professional.

How should I care for them?

Wash only when needed, roughly every 15 to 20 wears, with a sulfate-free shampoo, then air dry. Use a heat protectant before styling and keep your iron below 350°F. Between wears, store them loosely in their MOFRA box with the clips left open.

When will I receive my order?

Shipping is free within the United States. Orders typically arrive within 10 to 15 business days.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes. You receive your tracking number by email as soon as your parcel leaves our US warehouse. Tracking information can take up to 48 hours to become active on the carrier's website.

Can I return them?

Yes. Unopened sets, still sealed in their original pouch, can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. For hygiene reasons, opened or worn sets cannot be returned.
