How to care for your extensions
- Detangle gently with a wide-tooth comb before washing, always working from the ends upward, never from the roots.
- Wash only when needed, roughly every 15 to 20 wears, with a sulfate-free shampoo. Condition the mid-lengths and ends, and avoid the clips.
- Air dry. Never wring or twist, and never sleep in them.
- Always apply a heat protectant before curling or straightening, and keep your iron below 350°F.
- Store them loosely in their MOFRA box between wears, with the clips left open. Closed clips press marks into the strands, and a 24 inch set cannot lie flat in a box without folding.
Make them last
Because MOFRA clips in and out without glue, heat or chemicals, there is nothing to weaken your own hair. With gentle washing and loose storage, a set easily lasts 6 to 12 months.
